Stephen King - 11/22/63 Book

Imagine if you had the ability to travel back in time and stop history’s most controversial assassination. Jake Epping has this very opportunity when his friend, Al, lets him in on an alarming secret – his storeroom is a portal to 1958. Now Jake must continue what Al has been trying for years to stop – the assassination of JFK. Stephen King does an excellent job of transporting the reader to the era of the 60s as Jake eavesdrops of conversations and watches events slowly unfold, stalking Lee Harvey Oswald, trying to uncover the mysteries and machinations of the ultimate murder of the great American President. The audiobook version of this tale is energetically read by Craig Wasson. He performs lines with a gusto that cannot be ignored, and eventually it’s all too easy to forget that he isn’t Jake Epping.
